The 2020/2021 Rome Stale Crewzer is a new model in Romes already stellar line up for 2020/21. This board is Stale Sandbech’s take on a ‘one board does all’ stick. The directional twin outline design is a tip of the hat to retro snowboards, yet benefits from the modern take on an all mountain board. The boards versatility is mainly down to the tried and trusted combination of directional twin and camber with rocker at the contact points. The camber gives the pop you want from a camber, is aggressive through the turns and allows you to hold an edge with ease. Whilst the rocker gives you a catch free ride, makes the board a bit more playful at the nose and tail, gives the float through powder and helps you effortlessly flow from edge to edge through the turns. The carbon hotrods give the board the rigidity through the nose and tail and the pop you need from an all mountain board. Impact plates are another clever piece of tech the Stale Crewzer benefits from. These plates sit below the insert pack and reduce chatter through the choppy stuff and impact on landings. The Rome popcore is an even distribution of alternating poplar and paulownia strips. This aids the board versatility and makes it a durable deck that won’t go floppy after a season. The Stale Crewzer also has Romes Sinterstrong base, this board really can do it all so if you’re looking feel like you’ve always got the right board for the day look no further!
